Earlier today, I wrote about the launch of Virgin Atlantic’s first-ever domestic flight service, otherwise known as ‘Little Red’.

Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Atlantic’s founder and president, stole the limelight during a recent promotional visit to Edinburgh after flashing his underwear, which had the words ‘stiff competition’ written on them… a clear message for rival airlines, it seems. Click here to read that blog post.

As a special bonus, I’ve also received some images of the Airbus A320 used by Virgin Atlantic during the Edinburgh event, with the aircraft receiving a traditional water cannon salute.

One of the images is included on this page and you can head over to my Facebook page to view the rest of them. Click here to check them out.

Virgin Atlantic’s domestic service will be operated using four Airbus A320 aircraft in the distinct Virgin colours, with region-specific names chosen by lucky local competition winners, to be announced shortly.
