With the 20th edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) taking place in Dubai at the moment, Etihad Airways has been the centre of attention with its eye-catching stand, which showcases the airline’s brand new service between Abu Dhabi and Washington, D.C.

Offering visitors a taster of the ‘Washington, D.C. experience’, chefs from America’s much-loved Georgetown Cupcake are baking their world-famous gourmet cupcakes at the Etihad Airways stand… YUM!

If you’re attending Arabian Travel Market this year (the exhibition finishes tomorrow), don’t miss these little treats… they’re pretty special (there’s even a hit television series about Georgetown Cupcakes on TLC) and thousands of cupcakes are being scooped up each day at the Etihad stand.

Although I’m biased, as I work for Etihad Airways, but the stand looks amazing too! I’ve included a photo on this page, and there’s an entire photo album dedicated to Etihad’s activities at Arabia Travel Market 2013 on my Facebook page. Click here to view them.

As you’ll see from the photos, the Etihad stand has attracted a number of big names from Middle East aviation, including His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum (Chairman of the Dubai Aviation Authority and Emirates Group) and Ghaith Al Ghaith (Chief Executive Office of flydubai).

This year’s Arabian Travel Market, which features over 3,000 exhibitors from 87 countries, was inaugurated by HRH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
